On the afternoon of May 15, the 16th "Silicon Lake’s Spring Cultural and Art Festival and "Fight the epidemic Together, You and I Together" cloud concert was held online. The opening ceremony held a wonderful performance, songs, musicals, guzheng playing, dancing etc. More than 20 programs were presented one by one, which constantly attracted the audience's thumbs-up.

Although the epidemic has blocked our spring campus appointment, but can not stop our long-awaited "Silicon Lake ‘s Spring" Cultural and art festival. The annual festival is the concentration of Silicon Lake campus culture, and also a platform for all teachers and students to show the charm of youth.

Dr. Zeng Yongqin, the executive president called on the students to fly their hopes and dreams in the sky of art, grow up healthily in the joyful songs, meet the challenges and create new brilliance of Silicon Lake. She believes that as long as the students actively participate and show themselves, they will enrich the interesting soul, exercise the comprehensive ability, strengthen the team cooperation, and get great fun.

The outbreak has shown us the horror and ruthlessness of the virus, as well as the fearlessness and dedication of countless medical workers and volunteers. During the epidemic, more than 100 teachers and students in our school have volunteered to fight against the epidemic. They are not afraid of hardship, fatigue or risk. At the beginning of the opening ceremony, a short video of Silicon Lake volunteer service was played, "The Road of Epidemic", which showed us the style of Silicon Lake's pioneers in fighting against the epidemic.

 Afterwards, the students performed the song "The Light that Guards Me", the musical short play "The Epidemic That Cannot Be Decadent", the hand-painted "The Most Beautiful Retrograde Traveler", the dubbing "Chinese Doctor", the documentary "The Final Fight against the epidemic", to pay tribute to the great spirit of fighting against the epidemic.

The opening ceremony of the art festival was held in the form of a concert on the cloud. In the performances of the songs "Spring Breeze 100,000 Miles", "Wine is Sold", the guzheng "Introduction to the Orchid Pavilion", the guitar singing "Go to Dali", etc., the teachers and students deeply moved the audience with their exquisite skills and affectionate performances.

At the opening ceremony of the art festival, various forms of performances such as dancing, hand-painting and calligraphy were performed, demonstrating the high artistic quality of the teachers and students of Silicon Lake.

" Silicon Lake’s Spring Cultural and Art Festival is a characteristic campus activity of our school, which has been successfully held for 15 years. Although this year, the festival could not be held offline due to the pandemic. However, various cultural and artistic activities such as painting and calligraphy competitions, children's song competitions and dance competitions will be held online to provide a platform for students to show their personal style and improve their comprehensive ability.
