On April 16th, the "Si-Tech Software Talent Orientation Class" jointly established by our school and Beijing Si-tech Information Technology Co., LTD. (SZ.300608), a leading listed software and operation service company in China, officially started. 33 students have been selected and become the first batch of orientation class students. After receiving the three-month school-enterprise cooperation training, they will enter the Si-Tech software development and testing, big data platform operation and maintenance and other positions, and start the internship under the guidance of the enterprise mentor.

The opening of this orientation class is the first landing project of our school this year to further promote the integration of industry and education, cooperate with domestic outstanding enterprises in subdivided industries, and jointly cultivate high-quality talents. Beijing Si-Tech Information Technology Co., Ltd. is a listed company providing carrier-grade software and operation services (SZ.300608). Its business covers 32 provinces, Hong Kong, Britain, the United States, Africa and other overseas markets. It is the strategic partner of the four telecom operators. Our school is one of the first private universities in Jiangsu Province and the first college in Kunshan, the top 100 counties in China. It has a history of 23 years. The students are concentrated and the teachers have rich experience in theoretical teaching. Before the opening of the orientation class, the two sides worked out the talent training program through discussion, determined the cooperative course and teaching content, and made a detailed teaching plan. After the opening of the class, the two sides will carry out a three-month cooperative teaching. At the end of the course, students will enter Si-tech take the positions of software development and testing, big data platform operation and maintenance, and have a one-year internship under the guidance of corporate mentors.

At the opening ceremony, Ms Zeng Yongqin, the executive principal, made a speech to congratulate and deliver a speech for the smooth opening of the orientation class. She appreciated Si-tech’s deep participation in school-enterprise cooperation and joint talent training with the school, and fully affirmed the effectiveness of both parties' pragmatic and efficient promotion of class opening. And encourage the orientation class first period students to cherish the precious learning opportunities, study hard, create their own future.

He expressed his appreciation to our school for the meticulous and thorough preparation for the opening of the orientation class. He said that it is also important for enterprises to cooperate with universities and enterprises to cultivate talents, which can better meet the needs of enterprises and expect students to achieve good results. 

The "Si-tech Software Talent Orientation Class" has been organized since the end of last year. Despite the special situation of the outbreak of COVID-19 during this period, the two sides actively communicated and prepared online. On March 25, 2022, the orientation class project passed the discussion and review of the Industry-Education Integration Steering Committee of Silicon Lake College. On March 28, the two sides officially signed the cooperation Agreement on jointly building the orientation class of "Si-tech Software Talents". After the online registration and presentation, the students actively applied and submitted their resumes. After the online test of job technology, online assessment (logic + personality test), leaderless group interview and other aspects of Si-tech Company, 33 students finally entered the "Si-tech Software Talent Orientation Class".
