一、Training Objectives and Career Orientation

The training goal of this major is to face the production front line of construction enterprises (highway engineering, bridge engineering), cultivating practical, skilled, compound, innovative higher vocational and technical personnel with strong practical management ability, who can be engaged in work related to construction organization and technical management of road and bridge projects, capable of understanding construction design documents and preliminary reviewing construction design drawings; capable of drawing up construction plans, construction methods and construction technology according to the design documents(design drawings, etc.)and related technical specifications, and having the ability of reasonable organization and management of construction and engineering positioning survey lofting; having the ability to self- check and measure the actual quantity of the project and fill in various quality inspection forms as required according to the project quality inspection methods and acceptance standards; capable of collecting and sorting engineering technical data and filing documents; having the ability to organize and coordinate the relationship between different departments.  

The vocational post group for this major: road and bridge engineering related enterprises, public institutions, construction workers as the main jobs, quality inspector, data member, experimenter, measurer, safety member for employment positions.

（1）Mastering the necessary basic knowledge of politics, law, foreign language, mathematics, computer application and so on.

（2）Mastering the professional basic knowledge of engineering drawing, road and bridge engineering guide, building structure, building materials, building mechanics, soil mechanics, building engineering survey, building engineering CAD and so on.

（3）Mastering the professional knowledge of reinforced concrete structure, masonry structure and steel structure, ground and foundation, highway engineering, highway engineering construction organization and design, bridge and culvert engineering, project bidding and contract management and so on.

（2）Obtaining at least one professional skill qualification certificate in construction worker, cost officer, quality inspector, safety officer, data worker, surveyor, CAD certificate and other projects.
