Department Introduction
Since its establishment, the school has been welcomed by the government, the community and early childhood education institutions. The Government departments and employers have affirmed the efforts and innovation in talent training of our school, and provided a higher and broader space for the development of our school. The Children's Hospital affiliated to Suzhou University founded in 1959 is a famous three-class A children's hospital integrating medicine, teaching, research and prevention, enjoying a high reputation in China. Since 2017, the hospital has become an internship and training base for early childhood development and health management talents of our department.The hospital and our department carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in teaching, training and practice, and jointly cultivate interdisciplinary talents with professional knowledge of preschool education, as well as certain skills of children's clinical medical care and nursing knowledge, which significantly improve the competitiveness of students in employment, which is the first in China.
To train students to love the motherland, love the cause of children's education, establish correct values and shoulder social responsibility;To cultivate high-quality technical and skill-oriented application talents with innovative consciousness and entrepreneurial ability with solid basic theories and skills of early education, early health knowledge and skills and practical ability.To cultivate students with comprehensive professional knowledge of preschool education, and certain knowledge and skills of children's clinical health care, caring and good communication skills, both Chinese culture literacy and international vision, and adapt to the needs of the education and training market.
